Hyundai Ioniq: Crankcase Emission Control System / Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve. Repair procedures
1. | Disconnect the vapor hose (A). |
2. | Remove the PCV valve (B).

1. | Insert a thin stick (A) into the PCV valve (B) from the threaded side to check that the plunger movement.

| If the plunger does not move (PCV valve is clogged), clean or replace the valve. |
|
|
1. | Install in the reverse order of removal. PCV Valve installation : 1.96 - 2.94 N.m (0.2 - 0.3 kgf.m, 1.45 - 2.17 lb-ft) |

Removal1.Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.2.Remove the rear wheel and tire (A) from the rear hub. Tightening torque : 107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb-ft)

Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the rear wheel and tire (A)...
