| Inspection |
| 1. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 2. | Disconnect the PCSV connector. |
| 3. | Measure resistance between the PCSV terminals 1 and 2. |
| 4. | Check that the resistance is within the specification.

| Removal |
| 1. | Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. |
| 2. | Remove the air cleaner assembly (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner") |
| 3. | Disconnect the purge control solenoid valve connector (A). |
| 4. | Disconnect the vapor hose (B) from the purge control solenoid valve. |
| 5. | Remove the purge control solenoid valve.

| Installation |

| 1. | Install in the reverse order of removal. |

Replacement1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2.Remove the heater and blower assembly.(Refer to Heater - "Heater Unit") 3.Remove the evaporator core cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws.4.Pull out the evaporator temperature sensor (A) from the evaporator core.
