DescriptionCamshaft Position Sensor (CMPS) is a hall sensor and detects the camshaft position by using a hall element. It is related with Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) and detects the piston position of each cylinder which the CKPS can't detect.
DescriptionThe smart cruise control unit is installed on the front right side of the chassis. A radar sensor is embedded in the front section of the unit. This sensor detects vehicles and objects in front of the vehicle. The radar sensor can detect up to 64 objects ahead of a vehicle.
Removal1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Remove the steering wheel assembly.(Refer to Steering System - "Steering Wheel")3.Remove the steering back cover (A).4.Remove the steering remote control connector (A).5.Remove the steering remote control after loosening the screws.
