DescriptionThe HCU (Hybrid Control Unit) controls whole hybrid systems and is connected with each control modules (ECM, TCM, MCU, BMS ECU etc.) by CAN interface.

Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch OFF.2.Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector.3.Measure the resistance between terminal "+" and "-" of the evaporator temperature sensor.Specification Evaporator core temperature [°C (°F)] Resistance [KΩ]
Replacement1.Remove the battery (-) terminal.2.Remove the engine room under cover.(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover")3.Remove the heater hose (A) and AEWP hose (B).4.Disconnect the lock pin to remove the heater hose pump connector (A).
