Hyundai Ioniq: Air Conditioning System / Ambient Temperature Sensor. Description and operation
The ambient temperature sensor is located at the front of the condenser and detects ambient air temperature. It is a negative type thermistor; resistance will increase with lower temperature, and decrease with higher temperature.
The sensor output will be used for discharge temperature control, temperature regulation door contrl, blower motor level control, mix mode control and in-car humidity control.
Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch ON.2.Connect the GDS.3.Emit intensive light toward the photo sensor using a lamp, and check the output voltage change...
Other information:
The TPMS Malfunction Indicator will illuminate after it blinks for approximately
one minute when there is a problem with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
Have the system checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer as soon as possible.
NOTICE
If there is a malfunction with the TPMS, the individual tire pressures in
the cluster LCD display will not be available...
DescriptionContinuous Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) system advances or retards the valve timing of the intake and exhaust valve in accordance with the ECM control signal which is calculated by the engine speed and load.By controlling CVVT, the valve over-lap or under-lap occurs, which makes better fuel economy and reduces exhaust gases (NOx, HC) and improves engine performance through reduction of pumping loss, internal EGR effect, improvement of combustion stability, improvement of volumetric efficiency, and increase of expansion work...
