Hyundai Ioniq (AE): Driver Position Memory System / Easy Access Function
The system will move the driver's seat automatically as follows:
The shift lever is in P (Park)
- It will move the driver's seat rearward when the Engine Start/Stop button is in the OFF position and the driver's door is opened.
- It will move the driver's seat forward when the vehicle is turned ON or the driver’s door is closed with the smart key with you.
You can activate or deactivate the Easy Access Function from the User Settings mode on the LCD display.
The Driver Position Memory System is provided to store and recall the following memory settings with a simple button operation. - Driver's seat position - Side view mirror position - Instrument panel illumination intensity If the battery is disconnected, the position memory will be lost and the driving positions must be stored in the system again.

Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch OFF.2.Disconnect the mode control actuator connector.3.Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the defrost mode when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4.Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the vent mode when connected in reverse.

RemovalWarning Indicator1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Remove the mirror (A).InstallationWarning Indicator1.Install the outside mirror.2.Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.Inspection1.Apply battery voltage to each terminal as shown in the table and verify that the mirror operates properly.
