DescriptionIntake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS) is included inside Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor and detects the intake air temperature. To calculate precise air quantity, correction of the air temperature is needed because air density varies according to the temperature.
DescriptionThe smart cruise control unit is installed on the front right side of the chassis. A radar sensor is embedded in the front section of the unit. This sensor detects vehicles and objects in front of the vehicle. The radar sensor can detect up to 64 objects ahead of a vehicle.
Removal1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Remove the front / rear bumper cover.(Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover")(Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper Cover")3.Disconnect the connector (A) from the parking assist sensor.4.Remove the sensor (A) by pulling out both ends of the sensor holder.
