| 1. | Remove the battery (-) terminal. |
| 2. | Remove the engine room under cover. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover") |
| 3. | Remove the heater hose (A) and AEWP hose (B).

| 4. | Disconnect the lock pin to remove the heater hose pump connector (A).
|
| 5. | Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the AEWP (A).
|
| 6. | To install, reverse the removal procedure.

DescriptionIn ordinary cars, the mechanical water pump mounted on the engine for heating purposes is activated to circulate the cooling water, but in hybrid cars, AEWP is used to circulate the cooling water when the engine is not operating.
