Self Diagnosis
1.
Self-diagnosis process.

   
When operating the self-diagnostics, the below fault (self-diagnostics code) will blink at 0.5 seconds interval on the temperature display settings (driver's side only) and the remaining symbols are OFF .

A. Nomal or one fault code is same as a continuance operation.

In the VENT mode, PS Mode Door Potention Meter is fixed in VENT position.
In the mode other than VENT, PS Mode Door Potention Meter is fixed in DEF position.

Duct sensor_Vent [LH]
Open or Short
In case of the Duct sensor failure, replace the Duct sensor with Temp Door mapping.

Duct sensor_Floor [LH]
Open or Short
In case of the Duct sensor failure, replace the Duct sensor with Temp Door mapping.

Replacement
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the crash pad center garnish.
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Garnish")
3.
Loosen the mounting screws and remove the A/C & heater controller unit (A).

4.
Press the lock pin and separate the A/C & heater controller unit connectors (A).

5.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   
Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
Replace any damaged clips. 7

    Replacement    When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or use a prying trim tool, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Recover the refrigerant with a recovery / recycling / charging station.
