Hyundai Ioniq: Crash Pad / Crash Pad Lower Panel. Repair procedures
•
| When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components. |
•
| Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface. |
•
| Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels. |

2. | Loosen the mounting screws and remove the crash pad lower panel (A). ![](images/crash_pad_lower_panel_repair_procedures-1154/413/saebd6h658d_n.gif)

3. | Press the lock pin and separate the diagnosis connector (A) ![](images/crash_pad_lower_panel_repair_procedures-1154/413/saebd6h659d_n.gif)

4. | To install, reverse the removal procedure. •
| Make sure the connector is connected properly. |

| Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers). |

When the temperature on the outside temperature gauge is approximately below
40°F (4°C), the Icy Road Warning Light and Outside Temperature Gauge blinks and
then illuminates. Also, the warning chime sounds 1 time...

As a reminder to the driver, the seat belt warning light will illuminate and
warning chime will sound for approximately 6 seconds each time you place the Engine
Start/Stop button to the ON position if the seat belt is unfastened.
