| Replacement |
| 1. | Remove the plug hole.
|
| 2. | Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the wiper arm (A).
|
| 3. | Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the cowl side cover (A).
|
| 4. | Disconnect the washer nozzle (A). |
| 5. | Detach the clips, then remove the cowl top cover (B).
|
| 6. | To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Component Location 1. Cowl top cover
DescriptionThe evaporator temperature sensor will detect the evaporator core temperature and interrupt compressor relay power in order to prevent evaporator from freezing by excessive cooling. The evaporator temperature sensor has the Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC).
Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2.Disconnect the auto defogging connector. 3.Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the open position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the close position when connected in reverse.
