Hyundai Ioniq (AE): Crash Pad / Cluster Fascia Panel. Repair procedures

Replacement
   
•
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
•
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
•
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
1.
Using a remover and remove the cluster fascia upper garnish (A).

2.
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash Pad Lower Panel")
3.
Loosen the mounting screw and remove the crash pad side garnish [LH] (A).

4.
Press the lock pin and separate the crash pad side garnish connector (A).

5.
Looseh the mounting screws and remove the cluster fascia panel (A).

6.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Make sure the connector is connected properly.
•
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).

    Replacement1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2.Remove the heater and blower assembly.(Refer to Heater - "Heater Unit") 3.Remove the evaporator core cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws.4.Pull out the evaporator temperature sensor (A) from the evaporator core.
