| 1. ESP OFF Switch |
Description1.The ESP OFF switch is for the user to turn off the ESP system.2.The ESP OFF lamp is on when ESP OFF switch is engaged.
Removal1.Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.2.Remove the crash pad lower cover.(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad")3.Disconnect the crash pad side switch assembly.
Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch ON.2.Connect the GDS.3.Emit intensive light toward the photo sensor using a lamp, and check the output voltage change.4.The voltage will rise with higher intensive light and reduce with lower intensive light.1. Auto light signal2.
Inspection1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Remove the crash pad lower panel.(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel")3.Remove the lower crash pad switch assembly (A) after disengaging the mounting clip.4.Remove the rheostat switch connector (A).
