Replacement1.Using a socket (B), remove the hood release handle (A).2.To install, reverse the removal procedure. • Make sure the hood latch cable is connected properly.
Replacement1.Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the wiring mounting clips.2.Disconnect the hood latch release cable (A). 3.Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the hood latch assembly (A).

Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch OFF.2.Disconnect the intake actuator connector.3.Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4.Verify that the intake actuator operates to the recirculation position when connected in reverse.
