Replacement • When removing the fender, wrap protective tape around a screwdriver or remover not to damage components• Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries • When removing the clips, use a clip remover.
Adjustment1.After loosening the hinge (A) mounting bolt, adjust the hood (B) by moving it up and down or from side to side and tighten the bolt.2.Adjust the hood height by moving the hood overslam bumpers (C) up and down.
DescriptionThe smart cruise control unit is installed on the front right side of the chassis. A radar sensor is embedded in the front section of the unit. This sensor detects vehicles and objects in front of the vehicle. The radar sensor can detect up to 64 objects ahead of a vehicle.
Removal1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Remove the steering wheel assembly.(Refer to Steering System - "Steering Wheel")3.Remove the steering back cover (A).4.Remove the steering remote control connector (A).5.Remove the steering remote control after loosening the screws.
