Description• Side Impact Sensors (SIS), each installed on the center part of the right and left front door modules and the right and left center pillars, detects side impact during collision.
Removal[Pressure Side Impact Sensor] • Removal of the airbag must be performed according to the precautions/procedures described previously.

Removal1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Remove the rear bumper.(Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper")3.Remove the rear corner radar unit (A) after loosening the mounting nuts. • Take care not to separate the bracket from rear bumper when removing the rear corner radar sensor.
