| Removal |
| 1. | Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. |
| 2. | Remove the intake manifold. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Intake Manifold") |
| 3. | Remove the installation bolt (A), and then remove the sensor from the cylinder block.

| 1. | Install in the reverse order of removal.

Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch OFF.2.Disconnect the intake actuator connector.3.Verify that the intake actuator operates to the fresh position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4.Verify that the intake actuator operates to the recirculation position when connected in reverse.

DescriptionThe smart cruise control unit is installed on the front right side of the chassis. A radar sensor is embedded in the front section of the unit. This sensor detects vehicles and objects in front of the vehicle. The radar sensor can detect up to 64 objects ahead of a vehicle.
