Function
The gear actuator is comprised of the shift motor and select solenoid. Gear actuator shift motor and select solenoid receive signals from TCM to control the gear. |

DescriptionThe mode control actuator is located at the heater unit.It adjusts the position of the mode door by operating the mode control actuator based on the signal of the A/C control unit. Pressing the mode select switch makes the mode control actuator shift in order of Vent → Bi-Level → Floor → Mix.

Removal1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Remove the rear bumper.(Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper")3.Remove the rear corner radar unit (A) after loosening the mounting nuts. • Take care not to separate the bracket from rear bumper when removing the rear corner radar sensor.
