Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.2.Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator valve connector.3.Measure resistance between the fuel pressure regulator valve terminals 1 and 2.

DescriptionThe Electric EGR Control Valve is installed in between the EGR cooler and the exhaust line and is a solenoid valve. This valve controls EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) amount by the ECM's duty control signal depending on engine load and the need of intake air.

Replacement1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2.Remove the heater and blower assembly.(Refer to Heater - "Heater Unit") 3.Loosen the mounting screws and remove the driver's temperature control actuator (A).4.Remove the heater core cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
