Hyundai Ioniq (AE): Engine Control System / Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IATS). Repair procedures
| Inspection |
| 1. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 2. | Disconnect the IATS connector. |
| 3. | Measure resistance between the IATS terminals 3 and 4. |
| 4. | Check that the resistance is within the specification.

| Removal |
| 1. | Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable. |
| 2. | Remove the air cleaner assembly (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner") |
| 3. | Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector (A). |
| 4. | Remove the installation bolt (B), and then remove the sensor from the surge tank.

| Installation |

|
| 1. | Install in the reverse order of removal.

Removal1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Remove the steering wheel assembly.(Refer to Steering System -"Steering Wheel")3.Remove the steering back cover (A).4.Remove the steering remote control connector (A).5.Remove the steering remote control (A), after loosening the screws.
