| Removal and Installation |
| 1. | Remove the crankshaft damper pulley. (Refer to Timing System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley") |
| 2. | Remove the front oil seal (A).

| 3. | Apply engine oil to a new oil seal lip & outer surface.
|
| 4. | Install the front oil seal (A) using SST (09231-G2100, 09231-H1100).
|
| 5. | Install the crankshaft damper pulley. (Refer to Timing System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley") |

Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch OFF.2.Disconnect the temperature control actuator connector.3.Verify that the temperature control actuator operates to the cool position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 7.Verify that the temperature control actuator operates to the warm position when connected in reverse.
