Hyundai Ioniq: Mirror / Outside Rear View Mirror. Repair procedures

| Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries. |
|
•
| When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components. |
•
| Take care not to scratch the body surface. |
|

2. | Disconnect the outside rear view mirror connector (A). ![](images/outside_rear_view_mirror_repair_procedures-1136/413/saebd6h626d_n.gif)

3. | Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the rear view mirror cap (A). ![](images/outside_rear_view_mirror_repair_procedures-1136/413/saebd6h627d_n.gif)

4. | After loosening the mounting nuts, remove the outside rear view mirror (A). Tightening torque : 6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft) |

5. | To install, reverse the removal procedure. •
| Make sure the connector is connected properly. |

| Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers). |
