Hyundai Ioniq (AE): Body Side Molding / Rear Spoiler. Repair procedures

Replacement
   
•
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
   
•
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
•
Take care not to scratch the body surface.
1.
Remove the tailgate side trim.
(Refer to Tailgate - "Tailgate Trim")
2.
Remove the rear spoiler plug hole (A).

3.
Disconnect the rear spoiler connector (A).

4.
Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the rear spoiler (A).
Tightening torque :
5.9 - 6.4 N.m (0.6 - 0.65 kgf.m, 4.3 - 4.7 lb-ft)

5.
To installintall, reverse the removal procedure.

Replace any damaged clips.
•
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
