Hyundai Ioniq (AE): Cooling System / Reservoir Tank. Repair procedures

Removal and installation
1.
Loosen the drain plug, and drain the engine coolant. Remove the reservoir cap to help drain the coolant faster.
(Refer to Cooling System - "Coolant")
2.
Remove the reservoir tank.
(1)
Disconnect the over flow hose (A).
(2)
Disconnect the reservoir tank water hoses (B).
(3)
Remove the reservoir tank (C).
Tightening torque :
7.8 - 11.7 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.7 - 8.6 lb-ft)

When installing a reservoir tank, insert its bulging part (A) to the vehicle body as shown in the figure below.

    Removal1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.2.Remove the steering wheel assembly.(Refer to Steering System - "Steering Wheel")3.Remove the steering back cover (A).4.Remove the steering remote control connector (A).5.Remove the steering remote control after loosening the screws.
