Removal[High Voltage Battery Front Cover]1.Shut off the high voltage.(Refer to Hybrid Control System - "High Voltage Shut-off Procedures")2.Remove the rear seat cushion.
DescriptionThe high voltage battery system consists of the BMS ECU (Battery Management System ECU), Power Relay Assembly (PRA), safety plug, battery temperature sensor, and battery ambient sensor.

Inspection1.Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2.Disconnect the auto defogging connector. 3.Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the open position when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the auto defogging actuator operates to the close position when connected in reverse.

Inspection1.Connect the battery voltage and check the blower motor rotation.2.If the blower motor does not operate well, substitute with a known-good blower motor and check for proper operation.3.Replace the blower motor if it is proved that there is a problem with it.
